Maintaining this documentation

Update pages using evidence from the current product.

The documentation is maintained separately in docs/swissknife. During a documentation update, the projets/SwissKnife application repository remains the read-only factual source.

Source priority

  1. src/lib/formats.ts, imageConverter.ts, and ffmpegEngine.ts;
  2. the current Compose files, Dockerfile, and nginx.conf;
  3. README, DEMO.md, NOTICE.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, and SECURITY.md;
  4. executable tests (npm test);
  5. vision documents only as an explicitly stated direction, never as an available feature.

Update the “Verified source” banner on the home page with the observed commit and date.

Every page must exist in English, French, Spanish, and German. English is canonical. Do not publish a locale with missing, placeholder, or machine-drafted content.

Checks before delivery

npm ci
npm run lint
npm run typecheck
npm run check:content
npm run check:links
npm run build

Then run the site and verify search, navigation, keyboard use, theme, locale switching, and desktop/tablet/mobile layouts. Date and revalidate every version number or public URL at publication time.
